Day 312 | Broken Flash!

    Newer Older

Dropped my flash while having a workshop!!! Now it won't pop a flash! Need to wait 1 week to see how much it would cost to get fixed. (First service center I asked told me it would cost almost half of the price)

Doing some DIY bg today using a basket I found in our kitchen.

    Strobist info:(Setup Shot below)
Studio Strobe thru softbox camera right @ 1/8
Studio strobe thru snoot back left pointing at subject @ 1/8
Sb-600(the other one) with full CTB gel shoot thru basket back @ 1/1

Sorry to hear about your SB-600, Laya. If you remember, I was asking you for tips on buying a used SB-600. I opted to get a new Yongnuo 465 which works in TTL w/ Nikon. I only paid $67. You can also get a manual Yongnuo for about $40. They're a lot cheaper than Nikon Speedlights but work perfectly fine.

I remember dropping an SB600 and that cost £120 to get fixed, cost me £140 (when the prices were low a few years ago) but would have cost £200 for a new one lol

      It's worth fixing :)
