I have two different HDR images generated from the same original. After playing with tone mapping for awhile, I ended up with two different images and I couldn't decide which I liked more. The image above is the more conservative of the two, the textures appear smoother and less grainy, but I believe some detail was lost in this picture compared to the other one which can be seen here.

I'd like some input because these are my first two HDR images.

      Hello,

really nice picture of Comerica Park. Personally, I liked this HDR a little better than the other one, I guess I prefer the more natural look. Which program did you use to blend them?
I really enjoyed looking through your Tigers photos. So much that we used two of them for our website here and here. And we will certainly come back to you when there is another piece on the Tigers.
Thanks for the creative commons license, we really appreciate it!

Thank you for your interest in my photos. I used photomatix to blend this one, and pretty much all of my HDR images.

I'd run it through some "denoise" software. Something like Neat image. This would clean the sky no probs mate.
