Pan 61-62 875 Northern Cross
With single digit temperatures for a week or so, the sun at high noon is only three fingers above the horizon (at arms length), and the bright sun gives no discernable warmth on exposed skin. Winter seems to suck the colours out of the world here, and leaves only shades of grey. Except of course at that time of sundown, the final shining as the day star bathes the sky with warm light, as it prepares to give the Siberian landscape morning. A Point Possession seascape, Cook Inlet Alaska.
