Stanley Morison's First Principles of Typography has been published in multiple editions. In this picture, the Cambridge University Press editions in 1951 and 1967 (both in blue); the edition designed by Jan van Krimpen and printed by Joh. Enschedé en Zonen in Haarlem in 1946 for A. A. Balkema's Vijf Ponden Pers (hard-bound in brown), which is in English though; the American edition in 1936 (at the right bottom); the Dutch (Utrecht) edition in 1951 (in blue gray); and the Dutch (Amsterdam) edition in 1983 (the white one on the left).
