Last year I wanted to take some snowflake macro photos. But with 17-200 Sigma lens it was difficult to get any decent results. Then also began my interest in macro photography. In the beginning of March 2009 I purchased Canon f2.8 100mm macro lens. And then waited for my first real snow. Finally it came. I tried for three days with different techniques, different backgrounds, different lightings etc. When I saw this flake I told to myself - this must be your jackpot. And it was!
