SnapShots

Grandmother worked at various Drive-In's in Houston during the 1950's through the early 1960's. She collected the "trading cards" of the day from her co-workers that worked at Sivil's Drive-In. That's what most of the SnapShots scrapbook consists of in this series. Other items of note are some personal pictures of the period and a menu from the 1950's for Prince's Hamburgers (check out the prices!) and a couple of post cards. I was thrilled that she let me borrow the scrapbook long enough to scan every page. I decided to leave the photos in-situ to preserve the "feel" of the scrapbook in the images. I'm very pleased that it came out so well.
