Illinois Beach Ice Formation
Had another opportunity to get to Illinois Beach State Park this morning. On the way to Zion there were at least 30 cars wrecked along the side of the road due to the light dusting of slippery snow, so it was a slow drive.
Once I arrived it was fun though. Got to play around with my new 10-Stop ND filter for the first time, and I found these really neat ice formations!
This was shot using the 10-stop ND and a Circ Polarizer, I'm still learning the best ways to tackle focus, exposure and use of the CPL with the ND filter. This is difficult since you can't really see through the lens once the ND filter is attached.
