Honey Bee Macro

    Newer Older

I've always been fascinated with insect macros - it's tough to get a decent macro, with the entire insect in focus. Most of the times you end up with the focus on one part - the leg, or something shiny! Took me sometime, to get this one right!

Not very sophisticated - just a sheet of white paper and some bright ambient light!

Brilliant detail! I have used it on the cover of Huber's 'New Observations on the Natural History of Bees', (ISBN: 978-1-78139-119-8) with acknowledgement and deep gratitude.
