Kodak Duaflex (UK)

    Newer Older

The original Duaflex was introduced in 1947, and was manufactured both in America and in England. The U.S. & U.K. versions differed in appearance, and I've always been partial to the British version.
Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any "camerosity" code inside this one, so I can't date it precisely. Nonetheless, I am happy to add it to my collection!

I have this camera, only the outside rim (seen here is silver) is black and the inner band (black here) is silver. Does this make mine the U.S version?

No. Actually, there were two versions made in England, and you've apparently got the other one. The U.S. version has a black faceplate. Yours should say "made in England" on the front.
