Argus Lady Carefree

    Newer Older

If you hadn't seen this picture, you probably wouldn't have believed me if I told you I had a camera that could be confused with a feminine hygiene product.

The Lady Carefree is a plastic camera for 126 film cartridges. It wasn't actually made by Argus, but for Argus, by Balda-Werke (Germany) around 1967.

galessa's plastics, Apocaplops, and 256 other people added this photo to their favorites.

My boyfriend collects cameras and recently found one at an antique mall for $5. Have you valued this camera yet?

    7. John Kratz 49 months ago | reply

My price guide puts a value of $5-15 on this camera.

awesome. He got it on the lower side of that. It will remain in collection for further value. By the way have you taken any pictures with yours?

    9. John Kratz 49 months ago | reply

No, I haven't used it. It takes 126 film cartridges, and I really have no desire to try finding them or somewhere to have the processing done.
