Macro of a Small Dainty Flower: Field Marigold
This flower is actually about 1cm in diameter. Quite beautiful and grows like a weed in the median.
Taking these photographs was not easy; I had to use multiple flashes, a high ƒ stop, and take many photographs as even the slightest gust of wind would throw the flower out of frame since my macro lens was but a few inches away.
Thank you to Jon Singer for identifying this flower as Calendula Arvensis, commonly known as a Field Marigold.
Taken on the morning of April 1st.
