I Knit a (Tiny) Sock

    Newer Older

I took a class last night (from Sivia Harding!) at Urban Yarns. I had to finish up the toe at home, but did the rest of this in about 2.5 hours. (Heh.) I'm sold! I can't wait to cast on for a bigger one.

Pattern: Training Sock, by Kate Atherley (Knitty Spring 2005)
Finished Size: About 2" across the sole; about 1.5" from ribbing to heel
    Yarn: SWTC Tofutsies (fabulous)
    Needles: 2.25mm bamboo DPNs

Thanks! I can't wait to start a big one. Actually, I have to wait, but I don't want to. Maybe this weekend...

I know, right?! She's the sweetest. And, man, did she have some amazing sample socks. Beaded and cabled!

Now I'm thinking about the time we all got to eat sushi on the dock at Granville Island... say hi to Sivia next time you see her! hurrah! And super-congrats on the sock!
