Horsetail Fall - Golden Light
This was in my bucket list for a long time. After missing the best light window (Feb 14-23), yesterday I decided to drive alone to Yosemite to see Horsetail fall. In order for falls to be best, there is plenty of snow above and it should be melting fast. In addition, you need a cloudless Western sky. All of the conditions were in place when I reached there. Even though it was a weekday, still there must have been about good 50 people, most of them with heavy camera gear.
I was there 2 hours before sunset. Once sunlight started illuminating the falls, it started turning into shiny silver color. Just before the sunset, clear golden light made the falls and mist look like Lava. It was an amazing experience to witness this natural wonder.
