Church On The Mountain

Roughly 4 hours worth of star trails, the full moon was out (right rear of the frame) so probably not as many stars as you would normally see up here but fairly happy with this as it lit up the church and mountain nicely. El Teide in the background, this is the small church on the mountain that I thought made an interesting composition, also helped that I could shoot facing to Polaris. No shooting stars surprisingly, it got fairly cold up here, 10c by midnight, compared to 20+c back down by the coast at 3am when I got back.

441 x 30 second exposures

D300s @ f/4 ISO 250

Tokina 12-24mm AT-X lens @ 12mm.

SB-700 shot through the front sides (left and right) of the church to illuminate the gated door @ 1/4 power.
