Crane with Colored Wings

This is a variation of the traditional origami crane which I recently designed: there is a color change giving the wings a different color than the body. I have seen several other modifications of the traditional crane, including some with color change, but not this one. Still, since it's a very simple idea, it may well have been folded before. Let me know if you can find an example.

The model is quite easy to fold. Fold the square’s diagonals, then fold all corners to the center (blintz the square). You have four triangular flaps. Bisect one 45 degree angle of each, folding the crease as mountain to hide the paper below, and in such arrangement that the free space you create in the center is kite-shaped. Now, fold the result (a smaller square with a kite of the other color in the center), as if you were folding the standard traditional crane, and you will get this model.

Folded from duo color Kami paper.
