Monument Valley Corrugation during collapse

My recent design, Monument Valley Corrugation, forms a cigar-like shape during collapse.

This model is closely related to Dune Tessellation. You can practically read the CP off the model itself in this picture.

When fully collapsed (pictures coming up soon), this model looks completely different and forms a regular planar pattern. However, due to the paper’s springiness, it’s hard to hold the model in shape without stuffing it inside a box which prevents it from unfolding.
