Six Intersecting Pentagrams (SIP)

This modular woven polyhedron not only looks nice but it also has a very interesting history of several different people designing it independently (see folding instructions). Those credited include: Robert J. Lang, Francesco Mancini, Jared Needle and Leong Cheng Chit. The module used is a modification of Francis Ow’s edge unit. Different designers used different tip angles — this model uses the 60 degree unit.
