Name plate

This is a simple name plate on which you can place your name or put it on your desk. It looks like a regular triangular prism with pyramids on the triangular faces.

These pyramids can be directed inwards and in this standard setup the model can be used as a name plate to put on your desk. It can also be set up vertically and act as a stand for cubes or other similar origami models.

When the pyramids are pointing outwards, the model can be used as a candy wrapper or gift wrapping.

When one pyramid is pointing inside and the other one outside, several pieces of this model can be stacked on top of each other to form a tower.

Designed and folded by me. Simple crease pattern available here. More usage examples and folding instructions are available on my web page. There you can also find editable templates for printing your name on a sheet of paper so it ends up in the right place when you fold the name plate from it.
