Glossy Black-Cockatoo (Calyptorhynchus lathami)

Crowdy Bay National Park, NSW, Australia. Female.

We were lucky recently whilst camping at the Indian Head campground in Crowdy Bay National Park to have 7 Glossy Black-Cockatoos visit regularly and even roost each night above our tent. They're a gorgeous, and reasonably rare cockatoo, and it was nice to have them participate in the dawn chorus before departing for the day to feed.
