      Wonderful capture.

      Have you considered cropping in to the little lamb? He/she is so cute.

      @Amalia: i will keep the mother in, i love her friendly face and the feel of protection she gives to the lamb. I like the DOF allso, but i see what you mean, the lamb is so cute.
      @innercitysume:the sheep stays.
      @dorofoto: ik lag helemaal niet in de poep, hoe kom je daarbij? P.S. Ik snap nu je vraag, de schapen stonden op een oud dijkje.

      op een dijkje, wat makkelijk! (nee hoor, maar nu begrijp ik idd ook de scherpteverhoudingen).
      kokjebalder: ik moet je zeggen, dit is een briljante foto!

      Excellent photo, showing the curious young lamb against its world weary seen-it-all-before mother. It seems to be a late lamb.... if nborn in mid-April, and the mother is already shorn.

      Thank you CharlesFred. These days i notice lambs being born up to the months April and May. I think it's because in Holland more and more lamb is eaten.

      Yes, I suppose you are right... and I was thinking that it was always so cold there up north. The name is Charles, Fred is the name of my partner, who comes from Groningen... platteland - and he don't take pictures.
