I just got Cinema 4D, so I decided to play around with a bit of text and lights and cameras and whatnot.
The tools to create 3D art really haven't changed much at all since I started using them about 9 years ago.
That's actually how I got interested in graphic design in the first place, by doing 3D animation on the robotics team at Woodside Highschool. We won a few awards and whatnot for our animations. It was really fun. And now I owe my experience in graphic design to those humble beginnings, creating textures for dolphins, pearls, treasure chests, rocks and water.
