OFA Red Scarf

I've had two bright red hanks of Koigu for the longest time... this year, they're being knit into a long skinny scarf using a simple, one-row lace pattern. When it's finished -- and it won't be long now -- it'll be sent to the Orphan Foundation of American for their annual Red Scarf Project! w00t!

That's my FAVORITE ash tree in the background. With the taking of this photograph, I think I may have discovered how to better capture the colors in the leaves -- I absolutely LOVE those colors! It's the first tree in our yard to turn and it's going to be all over very, very soon (as in there will be a bare naked tree in my back yard)!
