Bread 3rd round
Improvement. 3rd go at the process. This time, baked in a Le Creuset casserole dish at 525, super hot oven. Had to remove the handle on the lid and stuffed the hole with foil.
A burn mark on one side, you can see. And it still isn't as light as I'd like on the inside. But this was a huge improvement, so obvs heat is important.
And I dissolved the yeast in the water before adding the flour. Seemed to make the rise much more lively.
