I added 3" to the length, and now I'm not so sure it was the best idea. I think I might like it about 6" shorter. :P But it knit up super quickly, and it was so easy to seam. Great pattern!

This is gorgeous in a longer length. A big cuddly cabley sweater.

How did the yarn behave with blocking? I'm finding quite a difference (at least with a swatch and we all know how reliable THOSE are).

OMFG!!! Incredible! I LOVE the back SO much.

Thanks, you guys. :) It really goes so much faster than it seems like it should.
I didn't think there was a whole lot of change after blocking. That's probably pretty unhelpful.

This is helpful. I think I'm going to knit a Large and end up with something around a Medium. If I knit the intended length my swatch tells me that it will come up a bit with blocking, which is good.

The only thing left to worry about is the arm holes. Are they snug as written? Because if they get smaller with blocking I would be screwed.

I also knit a size larger at a tighter gauge. I thought the armholes were perfect.
