La Bolla

The "Glass Bubble" (in Italian: "la Bolla") was designed by Architect Renzo Piano on the occasion of G8 Meeting hold in Genova on July 2001.

This Glass Bubble if founded on the see floor, it's close to the Acquarium and it hosts different type of ferns. Thanks to a sophisticated "system of sails" this tropical environment is protected from the direct irradiation of the sun.

Inside this Bubble it's also possible to see some small animals:iguana, butterflies, birds form Amazzonia, cacatua, tangare and so on.

This is a magical place where you can learn a lot of things thanks to the generous aid of the biologists who will be pleased to guide you.

Taken in Genoa, Italy.
