Union Square Savings Bank
Built in 1907 after a design by Henry Bacon, the Union Square Savings Bank building is now home to the Daryl Roth Theater (currently showing "Fuerzabruta"). Bacon was inspired by the Academic Classic style of buildings at the 1893 Chicago World Columbian Exposition (in fact, Bacon had worked on McKim, Mead & White's building designs for the Exposition). Bacon later went on to design the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC.
The Union Square Savings Bank building was made a New York City landmark in 1996.
