Stockholm City Museum's Millennium Tour

From here, the chunky square building with green roof, is the courthouse (Rådhuset) where Mikael Blomkvist is convicted of slander against Hans-Erik Wennerström. This is also where the trial that ends with Lisbeth Salander being declared legally competent takes place (must be in bk.3 ....). The water below is Riddarfjärden.


Monteliusvägen is the beautiful ridge-top pathway opened to public pedestrian thoroughfare in order to share this exquisite view of the old city and Kungsholmen, similar to that of Blomkvist and his hilltop neighbours.
