Deserted warehouse

Okay I suspect this is going to be quite (or very) easy but I love this building. It reminds me of the film Saw and I'm sure that it looks like that on the inside.

I'm hoping it's not scheduled for demolition as it is quite magnificent in spite of all the dead bodies, either way there'll be a block of flats there before long.

Chambers Wharf. This building was actually on TV a few days ago, it featured throughout an episode of the 1970s series The Professionals.

These days I think it is used by the LFB for training purposes.

Seems it was used as a location in at least two episodes of The Proffectionals, this was the one broadcast recently:

Well done RobBeer! Chambers Wharf and Cold Stores it is!Was it the scene of a murder? Presumably it was still operation when they filmed it.

Tetramesh do they go inside? It must be very dark...

I'm not sure if they go inside. I only saw them there once a couple of months ago training on the north side of the building.

When they filmed The Professionals episode mentioned above, it seemed to be operating as a brewery distribution warehouse. Possibly Grand Met (Watney, Mann & Truman) or Courage. The story was about two crooks on the roof of the warehouse who shoot up a hospital next door and demand £1,000,000 to stop.

Just came across the fact that there was (still is?) a WW2 bomb shelter below Chambers Wharf that projected out under the Thames.

Seems it will soon be gone, to be replaced by this:

Oh no! Well that's typical isn't it? I can't believe they would knock this down - it's not like it's not the right shape.
