Trying out the recently announced Leica Q.
DNG - 50mm crop mode.
The crop mode basically is called a Digital Zoom mode. Kind of turns it into a Tri-Elmar like camera. The zoom is just strictly a crop mode that gives you a reticule display for composition. This feels very much like using a range finder in this sense. The eyefinder LCOS display has some of the brightest whites I've ever seen, so the reticule is very visible and hard to miss.
The crop at 50 ends up being a 10 MP image which is more than ample.
