Wood Library (NY) - Full Redesign & Addition
KBA was responsible for all service planning and space planning related to the reconfiguration of a historical library building. Phase 1 completed in the first half of 2011 involved a the revamp of the existing three floors and implementation of part 1 of a new service model.

During Phase 2 (2012-2014), KBA worked with the library staff to plan and design a 5,000 SF addition to accommodate a new elevator, meeting rooms, an expanded children’s library, and a popular materials area, more efficient staff space. Parking and the gateway entrance were also improved. Part 2 of the new service model was also implemented.

State grants as well as the Friends' New Chapter Capital Campaign ($4 million was sought) funded these projects.
