Emily (Jupiter 8)
I purchased a Jupiter 8 from a seller on EBay. I must admit I wasn't expecting much for the price I paid. I don't think the results are that bad. Here at f2 the lens is a little soft Although that could be me. I had in addition a struggle with the film . I fought to get it on the spool. It took three attempts plus a trip to a minilab to retrieve the tounge after I failed on the first attempt. (I don't open the film cassettes I always end up in a mess that way.)Ah! the joys og home development.
The negs were lacking in contrast so I have adjusted them in Aperture 3.
I won't be too judgemental about this lens as yet however. I have to factor in that this was only the third roll I have proccesed myself in many years . I think I'll wait until I use some XP2 for that.
The film was developed in T.max for 6 mins @20°C
