12/03/09 - Nettie, a Little Corella Cockatoo, poses for the new lens after her bath. Nettie is 24 years old, and the Little Corella, while the homeliest of all the Cockatoos, is known to be amongst the most intelligent.

    He's not such a good looking bird, he looks like some of the chickens we used to catch when I was a kid! Yes I was a chicken catcher at one time in my life!

    But I do like the odd colors and wicked hooked beak still, dont see em much. You made em look as good as possible, nice drops catching light, eye catchlight, soft background~
    No uglier than Jack Sparrow and both have bird names~
    Nettie says "Yeah, that's right, tweet tooweet, cooo koooo"

    Another excellent bird portrait. I love the purple around the eye, the otherwise subtle colours and (of course) those drops.
