On Feb 16th 2010 we had another northern lights explosion, one of which I've never seen before. I was shooting lights at 3sec exposures instead of the usual 20/30sec, and still getting white burns. This photo is by no means a representation of the ridiculously powerful northern lights that night, but it is a nice break from the typical northern lights pictures, featuring an actual human being. Stay tuned for some insane photos I captured that night - I'm going to take my time to sort out the best and treat with much love and care.
