Count the stags...

    Newer Older

I shall be without Internet access for several days, so this is my last upload for a while. I thought I'd leave you with a bit of daft trivia!

    Quiz time:

Look directly at the antlers in the above image. How many stags can you see?

    [Answer in image below]

ISO 6400 (soaking imminent) so apologies the image quality isn't quite up to standard, but I thought the grouping of the stags above was quite unusual.

...Looking forward to catching up when I'm back online...

That is such an unusual grouping, I've never seen ones with such lovely orangey markings, a fantastic series with that forest of antlers ! My deer park pictures are nothing compared with yours : )

Excellent set of images! I like the group shots and the purple heather. I imagine this is more rewarding (but harder work!) than Richmond Park and similar...

^ thanks all & for adding to favourites.

@ - thank you Dan, I think you are definitely doing yourself down there - you have a stack of fantastic deer captures. I'm eager to get back on the moor as I can see from other recently posted pics that the stags have 'beefed up' and darked in colour. The antlers have also changed in appearance - almost like they now have silver tips to them. Just hope I can find one now!!

@ - thanks Andrew. Certainly is for me - just a matter of personal preference really, but I do enjoy the challenge of finding creatures in the wild.

Very clever main image. Only by looking at the subsequent images could I determine the numbers. Well captured.
