there's a great big beautiful tommorrow

-Carousel of Progress

This is a Mickey-shaped power transmission line that you can see on Interstate 4, (I-4) near Walt Disney World. This photo that I took isn't the best shot I could get but this photo means a lot because this is the first thing I see when I'm at Disney, and I know I'm actually there when I see it haha. Am I too much of a Disney geek?!

Do BETTER KevKev? Like how? From the comments and views, you must realize now that this is pretty darn good. The sky was cooperating with you here too. I might have cropped out the top 1/10th of the pic, but I'm not even sure about THAT little nitpik.

I have never posted anything on flickr that got 10 faves in its first week.

    Nope, ya done good, kid.

it's a cool picture Kev, did you use PicNik for editing it, right?... the cross process and the rounded framing look great...

and yes, you're a Disney geek, so what?... I love it too... and I'm almost 33 yo now.... it makes me feel young, it makes me feel happy, it makes me feel great :). I understand this cool place has a special meaning for you, it's nice to live so close to the magic :). you're lucky :)
  • Kevin Cantor 7y

Thanks imageneer! I used Photoshop to do basic fixes on it first, then used Picnik to mess with all their effects on there and came up with this.
And yeah, I am lucky to live close... I love it! :P

  • Sarah Coggins 7y

Very cool! I'm not sure I've ever seen that. Will definitely be keeping my eyes open on my next trip. :)
  • auntie rain 7y

By the way, Kev - there is no such thing as "too much of a Disney Geek."
  • Lo☆ 7y

i wish i would have seen that!!
  • Kevin Cantor 7y

    thanks guys!

timmynickels: I used Photoshop to do basic fixes on it first, then used Picnik to mess with all their effects on there and came up with this. I usually do a combination of both softwares to edit them. :)

2pawsdesigns: please do! Most people miss this, but you can only see this coming from the I-4 Tampa side.

Auntie Rain: I hope so! haha

lo: it's no biggie if you miss it, but it is something that is nice to see when you arrive at disney... or... gulp... leaving! :P
