Low Tide In The Harbour

I decided to have a little trip out to the seaside town of Scarborough in North Yorkshire, a popular resort for holidaymakers in the UK.

The town itself has a working harbour although not as busy as it was when fishing was a boom industry.

This shot is a handheld HDR with -+1ev bracketing and processed with Photomatix.

I ventured down into the harbour at low tide to capture this shot of the boats laid at thier moorings, you can also see Scarborough lighthouse in the background, this photo is worth viewing in large if you have the time.
