Slippin' someone the Jefferson

Every now and then (like today, for example) I go to the bank on my lunch break and change some twenties into $2 bills. I use the twos for tip money until they run out. Then a few months later I do it all again.

I figure it doesn't cost me anything other than a walk to the bank, and the recipients are bound to be surprised and / or amused.

You know that the two-dollar bill is still in circulation, right? And that you should be able to get them at any bank, right?

If I didn't have such a dislike of carrying change I'd be that guy with the 50¢ coins in his pocket all the time. I have a soft spot in my heart (head) for under-utilized currency.
