Light and Shadow

Light and shadow are fun to develop on dark paper using white and black media. I tried a paint brush to apply most of the pigment ink on this piece and that worked out pretty well for this scene/experiment.

Original: Versafine black pigment ink. Marvy black dye ink. Inks applied with a #8 paintbrush and an oval makeup foundation brush. Schwan Stabilo CarbOthello pencil. Black and light violet Prismacolor colored pencils. Uniball Signo .7mm white gel pen. 5" x 7" Pinot Noir (purple) 80 lb. matte folded card (scene created on unfolded 10" x 7" area).

Stamps used: Tree Trunk 087F, Tree Trunk Trio 088F, Pine 196F, Deer Silhouette 419D, Wavy Grass 400D, and Leaves 399E. Quote from Scenic Sentiments Sheet #3. Stamps by Stampscapes.
