Sunrise Looking At Mt. Williamson in the Eastern Sierras
Hello everyone sorry for being away but I just got back last week and I had to process too many images for my liking. I ended up spending an extended trip in the Eastern Sierras and I saw some great stuff. I ended up going with fellow flickr members Kevin Pieper, Dave Forster, and Phil Kuglin. We met up later with Jesse Estes and Ryan Dyar. Anyways it is good to be back on Flickr and I promise to get back to some of your images. I am going to be posting images all week as well as do a daily blog from the next week about the photo trip.
This is an image from Manzanar outside Independence. The mountain peak is Mount Williamson. We were lucky enough to catch a few good sunrises and this was one of them.
By the way this is the area where Ansel Adams shot one of his more famous images of the foreground boulders and Mount Williamson in the background.
Thanks for looking !
