HDR made from 3 exposures 1.6s, 6s, 25s long.

Canon 40d with 17-55mm lens on tripod

wired remote, existing light from outside.

 

I found that several times my bracketing extended past the 30 second long shutter barrier. It's really very dark there, even with light streaming in. In this case, I had to open the aperture pretty far to get below that 30 second threshold. This resulted in an image with less depth of focus than I wanted.
