Emerald Bay: My dream beach

Explored #184

Emerald Bay is a horseshoe shaped bay at the Pangkor Laut island, home to the Pangkor Laut Resort.

I've heard a lot about this beach, but really, nothing prepares you for it. The water is warm, and glows emerald, as its name suggests. I'll bet you may not even notice the row of deck chairs under the canopy of the trees fronting the beach.

Pangkor Laut Resort's service is second to none, and on this beach, the same applies - you just pick a deck chair to laze on, and they will bring you a pail of ice and water, and your towels too. There's a nice restaurant / bar there too - Chapman's bar, named after a British Army officer who escaped from the Japanese via submarines on this very shores during World War 2.

If ever you're in Malaysia, do consider dropping by. It is a very nice place.
