As I knew from numerous past experiences, the mud around these mangroves is extremely soft and gooey, and if you stand in one spot too long you'll find yourself slowly sinking. During the time I worked on this shot, I had sunk so deep it took all my strength to extricate myself!

 

Should you decide to shoot this area, your biggest challenge will be trying to frame a shot of the mangroves while excluding the many dead bodies of the nature photographers who weren't able to free themselves from this "quicksand"!!! OMG!
