The 10th of June
- www.kevin-palmer.com - A good lightning storm in Central Illinois is quite rare in my experience. Usually the lightning is hidden in the clouds or hard to see because of heavy rain. But it seems like we always get that one storm in June that produces the best lightning show of the year. This type of lightning, that crawls across the sky and rarely strikes the ground is found on the back side of a storm after it has passed through. This picture is a combination of 3 30-second exposures.
