Absolutely there should be a ice skating rink in the winter time. And in the spring, there should be a Little League diamond at one end of the park, with kids hitting home runs into the Potomac River. There should also be a floating restaurant (run by the Clyde's Group) as was once proposed. These would draw people to the waterfront year 'round, which I would think was the idea. Max Berry once proposed a concert shell down there too, which would be wonderful too. Free concerts! The Duke Ellington band, street artists.
