I found an unbelievable promotion video of the Greek riot police MAT on YouTube.

In Greece the anti-riot forces are known as MAT forces, which is the Greek abbreviation of: "Monades Apokatastasis Taksis", usually translated as Greek riot police but the actual meaning is more like: "Units for the Reinstatement of (Public) Order".

The promotion video ends with the following words:

A big thank you to MAT, who is daily defending the Greek Democracy, with the risk of their lives. They do not sit comfortably in chairs, nor are they paid as they should be. They wear the uniform and serve the country with bravery and honor.

Without further comment. Have a look for yourself and see what brave and honourable job they are doing. A picture says more than a thousand words.
