    yeah the fickle temps are tough to adjust to,
    but much better for the crops . . .

    ... first the mild winter, then the blizzard of '12 that damaged many of the orchards to the point that they have to start over, then the temps out of sequence that were near 90°f in March!, and now many nights in a row of temps in the 20°f ... it's probably good conditions for some crops and early sun worshiping northernites, but will be devastating to this years cherry crop : [

      I read that they lost 70 - 90% of the tart cherry crop in some areas. Nice image.
