EC-JHJ Airbus A320-214 LTE International Airways (MyAir.com) MAN 09SEP05

Replacing an earlier digital photo with a better version 26-Mar-20.

Sub-leased from Italian airline Myair.com (My Way Airlines) with small LTE sticker.

First flown with the Airbus test registration F-WWDL, this aircraft was delivered to GECAS and leased to LTE International Airways as EC-IEC in May-02. In Jul-03 there was a big investment made in LTE by the owners of Volare Airlines (Italy) and LTE was renamed Volar Airlines. In Nov-04 Volare Airlines (Italy) ceased operations, the Italian investors pulled out and Volar Airlines became LTE International Airways again. The aircraft was returned to the lessor in Dec-04. Ten days later it was leased to MyAir.com (My Way Airlines), Italy as EI-LTE and was sub-leased to LTE International Airways. It was re-registered EC-JHJ in Apr-05. The aircraft was returned to MyAir.com and the lessor in Nov-06. It was leased to TAM Transportes Aereos Regionais (Brasil) as PR-MHD a few days later. It was returned to the lessor as OE-IDF in May-14 and leased to Air Berlin as D-ABNH in Jul-14. By early 2017, Air Berlin was suffering from financial problems and the aircraft was wet-leased to Eurowings in Apr-17. Air Berlin ceased operations on 28-Oct-17. It was returned to the lessor and the lease was transferred to Eurowings on 01-Nov-17. The aircraft was transferred to Germanwings in early May-18. It was sub-leased to Eurowings and returned to service a couple of weeks later. The aircraft was stored at Paderborn, Germany in Jan-19 and returned to service in May-19. It was stored at Kaunas, Lithuania at the end of Oct-19. It ferried back to Dusseldorf at the end of Feb-20 and is currently parked awaiting the outcome of the COVID-19 pandemic. Current, updated (Mar-20).
