London-Heathrow (LHR) diversion.

Delivered to BOAC British Overseas Airways Corporation as G-ASGR in May-69, this was the final Super VC-10 built for BOAC, the last 8 aircraft in the order, G-ASGS/GZ, were cancelled. BOAC merged with BEA to form British Airways in Apr-74 and the aircraft continued in service until it was sold to the UK Royal Air Force serialled ZD243 in May-81. It was stored at RAF Abingdon, UK the same month. The aircraft was later moved to Filton, UK and was used as a spares source. The remaining shell was sold to a contractor in 1993 and broken up.
