The McDonald's on the west side of Green Bay on Military Avenue is host to a vintage neon sign. Only two of these exist in the United States. I didn't appreciate it growing up in Green Bay. It was only after I moved did I find out its history.
While photographing this sign I was told by a teenage employee that "the manager says you can't do that." I snapped a few photos and left without saying a word. Two minutes later I came back with and set my tripod up on the sidewalk and affixed an even larger lens to my camera. The workers gathered inside and sent the young employee out again. I looked him square in the eye and went back to my business. Know your photography rights people.
