The Regent Theatre, Stamford Hill, photographed in 1932. Located at 1a Amhurst Park, Stamford Hill, N16. The Regent Theatre opened on 18th February 1929 with Janet Gaynor in "Street Angel". Designed for Provincial Cinematograph Theatres/Gaumont British Theatres by architects W.S. Trent & W.E. Trent with 2,172 seats.


It was renamed Gaumont in January 1960, and was renamed Odeon in October 1962. Closed in September 1972, it lay derelict until it was demolished in March/April 1984.
